Does Innovation Spur Integrated Reporting?

This study analyses whether country-level innovation performance and firm-level commitment are associated to adopting the integrated reporting in Europe. The empirical analysis relies on a logistic regression model applied 388 firm-year observations regarding firms located Europe data between 2016–2019. results show positive significant association uptake. Moreover, at firm level, partially support that influence of likelihood publishing reports is higher for with higher-level sustainability performance. research contributes literature by focusing simultaneously impact acceptance European setting.
